Every day, people die in home fires. But you and your family don’t have to be victims. These tragedies can be prevented by following a few simple steps.

First, get ready. Start by putting smoke detectors in your home. Practice your escape ahead of time.

Second, get out. If a fire happens, get out right away and stay out.

Third, get help. When you’re safe, call 911, they can help in your language. Your local firefighters will take it from there.
